چکیده
Abstract Spin pumping from a metallic ferromagnet (FM) into an insulating antiferromagnet has been studied across the magnetic phase transition by means of temperature-dependent, broad-band ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) experiments. A set spin heterostructures consisting Permalloy (Ni$_{80}$Fe$_{20}$) as FM and Zn$_{1-x}$Co$_{x}$O with $x=0.3, 0.5$ $0.6$ (Co:ZnO) partially compensated antiferromagnetic insulator used for which previous experiments have already pointed out possibility existence spin-pumping. The present allow to reliably separate various contributions temperature-dependent Gilbert damping parameter FMR line-width. careful analysis obtained data demonstrates significant increase temperature-dependence $\alpha(T)$ around Co:ZnO extends up room temperature, confirming fluctuating sink antiferromagnetic/paramagnetic insulator.

Inverse quantum spin Hall effect generated by spin pumping from precessing magnetization into a graphene-based two-dimensional topological insulator
We present a multiterminal nanostructure for electrical probing of the quantum spin Hall effect QSHE in two-dimensional 2D topological insulators TIs . The device consists of a ferromagnetic FM island with precessing magnetization that pumps in the absence of any bias voltage pure spin current symmetrically into the left and right adjacent 2D TIs modeled as graphene nanoribbons with the intrins...
متن کاملSpin pumping in Ferromagnet-Topological Insulator-Ferromagnet Heterostructures
Topological insulators (TIs) are enticing prospects for the future of spintronics due to their large spin-orbit coupling and dissipationless, counter-propagating conduction channels in the surface state. However, a means to interact with and exploit the topological surface state remains elusive. Here, we report a study of spin pumping at the TI-ferromagnet interface, investigating spin transfer...
متن کاملDynamical self-quenching of spin pumping into double quantum dots.
Nuclear spin polarization can be pumped into spin-blockaded quantum dots by multiple Landau-Zener passages through singlet-triplet anticrossings. By numerical simulations of realistic systems with 10(7) nuclear spins during 10(5) sweeps, we uncover a mechanism of dynamical self-quenching which results in a fast saturation of the nuclear polarization under stationary pumping. This is caused by s...
متن کاملParamagnetic spin pumping.
We have demonstrated spin pumping from a paramagnetic state of an insulator La2NiMnO6 into a Pt film. Single-crystalline films of La2NiMnO6 which exhibit a ferromagnetic order at TC≈270 K were grown by pulsed laser deposition. The inverse spin Hall voltage induced by spin-current injection has been observed in the Pt layer not only in the ferromagnetic phase of La2NiMnO6, but also in a wide te...
متن کاملSpin pumping at the magnetic insulator (YIG)/normal metal (Au) interfaces.
Spin injection across the ferrimagnetic insulator (YIG)/normal metal (Au) interface was studied by ferromagnetic resonance. The spin mixing conductance was determined by comparing the Gilbert damping in bare YIG films with those covered by a Au/Fe/Au structure. The Fe layer in Au/Fe/Au acted as a spin sink as displayed by an increased Gilbert damping parameter α compared to that in the bare YIG...
